Doors crafted primarily from wood are widely suited for both residential and commercial buildings, offering a rich variety of styles and designs, including European vintage, minimalist modern, American, Mediterranean, Chinese, French romantic, and Italian aesthetics. Depending on materials, manufacturing techniques, and intended use, wooden doors can be categorized into several types; solid‑wood composite doors and solid‑wood doors are among the most common. The core of a solid‑wood composite door is typically made by bonding pine, cedar, or imported filler materials, then faced with high‑density board and solid wood veneer. After being subjected to high‑temperature hot pressing, the door is finished with solid‑wood edging strips. These doors boast thermal insulation, impact resistance, and flame retardancy, while their soundproofing performance is comparable to that of solid‑wood doors.
